Walk from Paphos Harbour at the Medieval Castle to the Lighthouse Beach and beyond

 

Kato Paphos Archaeological Park

A World Heritage Site

The ruins were unearthed in 1962
shedding new light on Cyprus under the Roman Empire

You can start the walk from the side of the Medieval Castle

Don't forget to take a drink with you

These three guns were presented as a memorial monument to the City of Paphos by Sail First MKM Sailing Centre Ltd
12 November 2012

On that day they were fired for the first time by the Mayor of Paphos Savvas Vergas to signal the start of their first regatta

The guns have been removed. Not sure if the will be back

Go to the end and turn right

You will now be able to see the lighthouse

There are seats and shelters available

From this point on the walk you can go across the open land to your right and back up to the Tomb of The Kings Avenue were you can catch a bus back to Paphos

Or carry on through an area that is a little more more developed and where you can sit and rest for a drink or a meal

 

Once again you will be able to turn right and go back up to the Tomb of The Kings Avenue were you can catch a bus back to Paphos or You could try Gustoso for a meal. Turn left on the Tomb of the Kings Road
